Paris Haute Couture

If you missed out on Haute Couture week, do not worry, we have you covered. Haute Couture is truly a platform to showcases over embellished, over dramatized and beautiful gowns fit for a special occasion (with a high price point of course). We truly do see creative directors/designers at their pinnacle during this event that happens every year.

Indulge in the looks that we feel were our favourites and feel inspired to at least have one or two similar in your wardrobe.

50 Shades of Pink

It’s safe to say that pink is the new colour of the year. First showcased at Valentino during Paris Fashion Week earlier this year and it seems as though other designers such Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana have also followed in the same pursuit. If you are not already a lover of pink, make sure to add this colour to your wardrobe.

L-R: Valentino, Giambattista Valli, Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel

Avante Garde

We love to see a bit of drama in our wear especially during special occasions, this is why the likes of Iris Van Herpen are and should be your go to for any inspirations regarding anything over dramatized and avante garde.

L-R: Iris van Herpen, Jean Paul Gaultier, Ronald van der Kemp, Rami Al Ali

Sheer & Lace

How does one make lace and sheer look chic and classy? Sometimes it can be hard to use lace in a way that seems or looks either classy and chic, so we hope by seeing how it is used and styled below, will give you some sort of inspiration or how to incorporate this within your wardrobe.

L-R: Zuhair Murad, Christian Dior, Armani Privé, Elie Saab

Sparkle

Sequins dresses are a definite must have in your wardrobe especially for those christmas occasions and any other occasion — if you wish — for a reason to spark and make a debut to the event you are attending. Whether it be long or short or both, consider having this type of style in your wardrobe as there plethora of colours that are available in sequins.
