10 Wardrobe Essentials for Him 2021

Hi Readers!

We have created a top 10 list of what your wardrobe essentials should be especially for 2021. There are some items which are a classic must have, but as fashion evolves so does our wardrobe; in addition we will find ourselves adding more staple items to the list. As we created one for our female readers we also wanted to create another for our male readers. You may find items that are already in your wardrobe but maybe missing a few others and vice versa.

We hope you enjoy this read, and remember you can never have too many of the items posted below.

  1. Basic White Tees

Rest assured that having a stock of basic white tees a no brainer, however, make sure to invest in high and good quality tees that are washing machine friendly and sustainable, so you do not find yourself replacing them on a monthly basis.

  2. Denim Jeans

If you wish to buy the same 5 times over, then you should. You can never have enough denim jeans - this rule does not just apply to women (as they are excessive shoppers) but also apply to men. Make sure to invest in a great pair or more of denim jeans, from dark blue to indigo - you will have more versatility when styling with different types of upper garments.

  3. White Sneakers

When it comes to footwear, white sneakers are a necessity, besides black sneakers, white sneakers are an all year round colour and style that can be styled casually or formally. If you are someone that tends to ruin your sneakers easily, we advise you purchase at least two pairs of the same so you can have one for everyday and the other for occasional use when you want them to look “clean” and “brand new.”

  4. Everyday Watch

A must have accessory especially for everyday is an everyday watch. It does not need to be expensive however, if you are someone who is a collector of watches or is starting their journey on investing in luxury watches - a classic Rolex/Cartier will do. This can also help to elevate your casual/smart casual look to another level.

  5. White Shirt

White shirts are not just for office use - the versatility is endless; but for your denim, blazer and loafer/chelsea boots/white sneaker looks. Paring the items listed in comparison to a white tee, it will not elevate your look to a smart casual that you may need depending on the event or venue you are attending.

  6. Loafers

A reason for having classic loafers is so that you can either wear them with suit trousers or chinos. Although having white sneakers in your wardrobe maybe a great idea, being able to switch between the two for different types of wear is a reason to have another essential style of shoes in your wardrobe.

  7. Versatile Trousers

Similarly to the women’s post, a great pair or few of versatile trousers in a wardrobe is essential. Whether it be chinos or smart slim fit trousers, you will be able to use these trousers for smart as well as casual wear. Ultimately, they can be accompanied with a suit or with a basic tee and white sneakers.

  8. Classic Blazer

Whether black or navy (preferably navy) a classic blazer is a must have in any wardrobe as it is a good transitioning item especially from Winter to Spring. This item can easily be worn smart or smart casual.

  9. Crew Neck Jumpers

You may be stuck on what colours to go for when it comes to purchasing crew necks, but you can never go wrong with a classic navy crew neck. This item has to be one of the most versatile item you can have in your wardrobe aside from the white shirt. You can easily pair this with a suit and white tee on the inside or with chinos and denim jeans.

  10. Chelsea Boots

The colour of your chelsea boots that you must have in your wardrobe, if you do not already is brown suede, with the exception of chocolate brown suede. This is an easy silhouette to style and an all year round essential statement piece in your wardrobe. It is a casual, chic and smart pair of boots that one should always have at least two pairs of.
